This site was conceived and established by two people. Dave Wulfman is a retired chemistry professor who has been a volunteer fire fighter with the Mill Village Volunteer Fire Department since 1984. Bernie Swain is a retired Ontario police officer who moved to Mill Village in 2001.

As a collaborative team, Dave is the researcher, writer and producer of most of the text in the site. His writing sometimes reflects his scholarly background with his deep knowledge of chemistry in general and of explosives in particular. He is often referred to within our pages as the "redactor" or occasionally the "writer". Bernie is the editor / publisher of the site. Very much self taught in the area of web site publishing, he is learning as he goes. |  BERNIE

The site is intended as a means of outreach by the fire services to our various community members. As the other involved fire services come on line, this will include all residents by and not far from the Medway River, even beyond. Our efforts are as volunteers.
